A British dating site is bringing together anti-masker singles who hopefully use birth control.
The dating forum “Love in a Covid Climate” is a subsection on the pandemic skepticism site LockdownSceptics.org and it launched Friday. The brains behind the set-up is British author Toby Young, best known for his 2003 memoir “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.”
He appears to be serious about the germ-sharing site.
“We’ve introduced a dating forum at (Lockdown Sceptics), so singles who feel the same way about the virus can meet and not have to worry about differing attitudes to social distancing,” the 56-year-old author tweeted to get things started.
While Young says the site has moderators to look out for trolls, he warns those who log-on to proceed with caution — then get on with behaving recklessly.
Critics have already dubbed the forum “OKStupid,” which is a reference to the actual dating site, OKCupid.

British news outlet The Guardian wrote that the site had more than 60 posts by its second day online.

One of those classifieds comes from a self-described “No nonsense” 48-year-old divorcé eager to swap spit during the pandemic.
“Never worn a mask and won’t now, certainly not dictated to by that phoney (Boris) Johnson!” wrote that risky single, who likes beer, “decent music,” and motor sports.
Another ad comes from a ”37yo woman, athletic intelligent looking for a sceptical mask-free man to rebel with.” She seeks a “highly intelligent” man.
As the Daily Dot pointed out, some of the early postings on the site were clearly mockeries. One ad reading “Seeking patreotic simpleton” came from a prankster who boasted “I have my own car and my own teeth. Not much else since the second divorce but don’t let that put you off.”
That person warns potential mates they may have to wait a while for a first date.
“I’ve got this terrible cough,” that candidate wrote.
Another eligible joker posted an ad seeking a patriotic lady: “pulse optional.”
