If your child requires 1 on 1 care or special attention in afterschool due to a diagnosed disability or special need… all spots are currently full. Please contact jdeal@bullochrec.com to request the wait list. Additional staff would need to be hired before we can add any more specialist spots.

NOTICE: RETURNING PARTICIPANTS
EVERY YEAR, you must register each school year in order to secure your spot in AfterSchool. No spaces can be held, and previous registration does NOT guarantee you a spot. You also have to complete the registration paperwork EACH YEAR—just like you do at schools and doctor’s offices. Paperwork is important if computer systems go down. Registration for returning participants will begin ONLINE ONLY on July 1 at 7 am. We will email out a link by June 28. If you do not receive this link, please email jdeal@bullochrec.com to request. Or, you may come for in person registration on July 7 at 8 am.

New Participants: If you would like to register for AfterSchool, you MUST watch this video BELOW. At the end of the video, you will receive a code. Have this code ready when registering for AfterSchool. You can register online beginning July 12 at 7 am by clicking the Register Now button at the top of this webpage. **Families are encouraged to set up their account prior to registration dates IF you do not already have an online account with SBCPRD/Splash in the Boro. To set up an account, click on the Register Now button above and then click on New Account.

Please call 764-5637 to check availability in the AfterSchool Program as we do tend to fill up quickly.

“Our Time” offers a structured, supervised after school program for the students enrolled in the Bulloch County School System in grades Pre-K -5th until 6:00pm. Quality, Accessible & Affordable care for students Monday through Friday. Afterschool Programs for Pre-K to 5th grade are currently held at all Bulloch County Elementary Schools. This program fee does not include Camp Adventure dates (full day activities during BOE Breaks).

Due to the nature of our exemption from State licensing for School Aged Children from Georgia Bright from the Start, all children must be potty trained before being allowed to participate in any Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks and Recreation Department child care programs. This includes AfterSchool Program, Camp Adventure, and Camp Cherokee Summer Camp. This department is not a daycare and does not have the proper diapering facilities or laundry to accommodate children who are not potty trained or that have accidents.

Registration Fee: $25.00
The required registration fee per child is non-deductible and non-refundable.

Weekly “Our Time” Program Fees:
2 Days per Week — $25 per week (per child)
(if child attends more than 2 days in a week, you will be billed $15
5 Days per Week — $40 per week (per child)

Fees
Fees are due one week in advance–on the Monday prior to the week you need care. Payments not made on the Monday prior to the week of care will be assessed a $10 late fee. You may prepay for as many sessions as you wish. Please see the Payment Schedule above for session registration dates/due dates.

Other “OurTime” Fees:
Late Pick-Up Fee: $5.00
After 6:00 PM (every 15 minutes)

Payment Late Fees:
Payments not made on the Monday prior to the week of needed care will be assessed a $10 late fee. Children not paid in advance will be removed from the afterschool program; Children will be sent to the school office, and parent will be called to pick up the child.

Transferring Programs :
If changes in registration of program (OurTime-2 day or 5 day/R.E.C.E.S.) become necessary – it is the responsibility of the parent to contact the administrative offices to change program. Pick up late fees will apply if office is not contacted. (In other words if you switch from OurTime to R.E.C.E.S. or R.E.C.E.S. to OurTime or from the 2-day per week to the 5-day per week or reverse without notification you will automatically be charged late fees. There is a $10 Transfer Fee per transfer.)
